Inspiring tales from not-for-profit organizations wanted
COBROOKE is pleased to announce its annual pro bono design services grant for not-for-profit and community based organizations throughout Sarasota and Manatee Counties.
Our aim is to assist these organizations in developing facilities and environments that are aligned with their missions and goals. Through pro bono design services we can provide innovation and expertise in areas where they are desperately lacking. Tell us your most compelling stories, document your needs and submit your request for consideration!
In Kind Services (ongoing)
COBROOKE will donate a portion of its fee on selected projects back to the organization as a restricted gift to be applied against the construction cost for the project in question. The percentage of the gift-in-kind is determined prior to the start of the project during the fee negotiation and will vary depending upon project factors. The gift-in-kind program is an effective method for organizations to reduce their overall project costs.
Capital Campaign / Grant Application Program (Ongoing)
COBROOKE can provide capital campaign/grant application materials specifically targeted to your organizations mission. COBROOKE has developed a “vision book” template that effectively transmits the vision of the organization to perspective donors including foundations such as Kresge, Selby, Publix Supermarket Charities, the Bank of America client foundation and government grants such as HUD, SAMSHA, US Department of Justice, SHP, USAID and PEPFAR.
Contact us for a complimentary examples of capital campaign and grant application materials prepared for our not for profit clients. Fees for this program vary per project and content.
Ideation Program (Ongoing)
Ideation is the creative process of generating, developing, and communicating new ideas, where an idea is understood as a basic element of thought that can be visual, concrete, or abstract. Ideation is all stages of a thought cycle, from innovation, to development, to actualization. As such, it is an essential part of the design process, both in education and practice.
COBROOKE will spend an hour or so with you key staff and/or board members to help you develop your vision, regardless of where you are in the continuum of development. The ideation process will help your organization sharpen its focus and allocate its resources properly. This program is complimentary.
